IHTBP Poster

Two lucky subscribers of Peatix Singapore’s weekly attendee newsletter “Peatix Scoop” stand a chance to win a pair of tickets to catch “I Hugged the Berlin Patient”, an independent film by local directors, Edgar Tang and Dzul Sungit.

To Win: Share the “I Hugged The Berlin Patient” film screening on Twitter or Facebook and include this sentence “Timothy Ray Brown is the Berlin Patient. #passthecure”
Giveaway Ends: 1PM, April 24 2014

Read our review on the movie here or watch the trailer below to catch a glimpse into Edgar’s heartwarming and inspiring journey as he traversed to meet the first and only man cured of HIV, Timothy Ray Brown, whose life story parallels that of Edgar’s own battle with cancer.

The film screening at The Arts House as part of a fundraising re-run will give all proceeds to the organising of an International Charity Premiere for a HIV NGO in honour (and hopefully in the presence) of Timothy Brown this World AIDS Day 2014. The previous run of the film raised over $20,000 for Action for AIDS for their programmes on AIDS care, education, and advocacy. Support the cause, get your tickets here.
