Android Pay is now live in the Peatix mobile app: Tap, Pay, Done!

Good news, Android Pay is now live within apps in Singapore and Peatix is a launch partner!

This means more seamless payment options in the Peatix mobile app to make it easy for you to get tickets without fumbling for your debit or credit cards each time.

If you’ve yet to get Android Pay on your mobile, here are three reasons you should download the app this instant.

1. Pay for tickets in one tap

Once you’ve got Android Pay set up, you can purchase event tickets in one tap within the Peatix app. There’s no need to recall or refer to your card details when all you really want is to get your tickets to your favourite events quickly and easily.

Did we mention you can also tap to pay within many of your other well loved apps like Grab, Deliveroo, and more?

2. Your details are safe

When you purchase tickets to events on Peatix using Android Pay, your name and full card details are never shown in the app and never stored on your phone. Instead, a unique virtual account number is created for your transactions. If you should lose your phone, you can also easily lock it, change your password, or wipe your phone clean of personal information using Android Device Manager.

3. Know where your money went

It’s easy to get lost in transactions particularly if you often use a variety of cards instead of just one. With the Android Pay app, you can track all your transactions in one place, including event tickets you’ve purchased on Peatix’s mobile app, without the need to login to your different bank accounts or wait for your monthly statement to arrive to be in the know of your monthly spend.

Find out more about how Android Pay works, or download it now to your Android mobile device to start paying for tickets in one tap within the Peatix mobile app.

Android Pay is compatible with any Android device with NFC enabled, running on Android 4.4 KitKat or higher and works with MasterCard and Visa cards from DBS, OCBC, POSB, Standard Chartered and UOB.
