7 things to do with your family this March holidays

The school holidays are just around the corner, have you made plans?

If you’re racking your brains on where to go or what to do, we’ve got you sorted – these seven off-beat, family-focused, and family-friendly events are sure to keep you and your family entertained and occupied as you spend quality time together this term break!

Culture Clash Festival

For the Family
Bring the troupe to catch Paper Monkey Theatre’s latest play, Looking for Mama. Using handcrafted puppets, they tell of a heartwarming story of little tadpoles in search of their frog mama who looks quite unlike themselves! Suitable for children 5 to 7 years old, it’ll be a pure delight for the little ones.

Or chill out with your kids to different genres of music (other than lullabies) at Culture Clash Festival – a kid-friendly and pet-friendly music festival that’s been a long time coming. Best of all, children under 12 get to go for free!

Perhaps a more educational experience is what you’re after? SmartKids Asia is by far Asia’s largest educational fair with more than 150 exhibitors present, seminars and workshops by distinguished speakers plus a slew of free trial classes and workshops to boot.

You could also get crafty with your child at this card making workshop and let them delight you with a sweet handmade Mother’s or Father’s Day card down the line.

SingaPlural

For the Parents
Do I say yes when my child wants to study design? In our conservatively traditional society, a career in design is very much a path off the beaten track. Understand how you could help your child make a wise decision at this workshop, held in conjunction with Singapore Design Week 2014.

As for Dr. Thomas Armstrong, he believes there are twelve qualities of the natural genius in every child that gets dampened through cultural influences and norms – learn how to awaken that very genius at his seminar and workshop.

Nannies on Wheels

For the Kids
Mobile nannies to take your child out for a day to the beach or for a picnic to develop their learning capacities, social, emotional, and physical well-being over song, dance, stories, craft, and playtime with other children. Let’s go!

Each week through the month of March, Peatix is giving away two #FamilyDayOut packages to two lucky families, including tickets to some of the events above! Our first giveaway worth $95 is now up and running, click here to find out how you could win.
